FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK:
Greetings to you in the Name of our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ. I take this opportunity to thank you for taking time to visit the CDMI website.
We are a ministry that desires to witness growth, maturity and fruitfulness in every opportunity God opens for us for discipleship. There is a time to sow and a time to harvest/reap.
CDMI believes in raising a Revived and Discipled Christian Generation with a servant, mother and father’s heart. We each have lived through generations where different seeds have been sown in our lives and we too have sown at different levels of our lives to which we harvest in due time. We are what we sowed yesterday. When you choose to sow in righteousness, you will reap a sure reward and attain life in Christ Jesus – Proverbs 11: 18, 19.
Today’s unrests are a result of what we sowed yesterday individually, as a family, community, city or nation. We all love peace within, peace at home, peace in your community, city or nation. Peace is sown. Every peacemaker sowing in peace raises a harvest of righteousness (James 3: 28). The beatitudes we read in Mathew 5 are seeds sown with a sure harvest.
When a farmer is ready to sow, she or he sows at the right time of the season and at the right temperature for growth, maturity and fruitfulness. Without the right seed of God’s Word at a particular season of your life, you will not understand your seasons nor will you sow, grow, mature and bear fruit.
You and I have been chosen and ordained by God to bear fruit for Him that will remain for His glory. What you need to know is invest in sowing in righteousness for a sure reward. Sow in reading and studying God’s Word, sow in prayer, in fasting, in doing good and do not become weary of doing good - Galatians 6: 7- 10.
Like a sure farmer, you will perceive new levels in your life – spiritually, financially, school/college, at your work place – promotion etc. Sow good seeds for the new levels God has for you.
To the young, it is more profitable for you to sow in seeking God and His righteousness (Mathew 6: 33) than in dance and TV (I am not against TV but, use wisdom and have a measure or balance for it). Spending more and more time watching TV takes much more from you than it gives. That is why; after hours spent watching TV, you find that you cannot pray or invest quality time with God.
When you sow, you will not reap the amount you have sown; there will always be a multiplication. When you sow good things, you cannot lack redemption in your life, family, city or nation. Some of the things people suffer are a result of what was sown. Seek to sow good seeds. Despair, suicidal tendencies, depression, anger/violence, strife/division, peace/joy, good health and relationships, genuine promotion etc, are a result of what you have sown. When you sow in God’s Kingdom, He will lift your levels heavenward. Ask God to open your spiritual eyes and have someone to help you.
In all that you do, be hopeful and have faith. Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see (Hebrews 11: 1). My heart’s desire is to see God richly bless you and I pray that the peace of God that surpasses man’s understanding be with you all.
